Jim Cairney - Minister

Jim Cairney came to Christ Church as our Minister in March, 2007. He comes with a deep sense of call and is delighted to be here to serve Christ Church. Jim is Montreal born, and raised in Ancaster. He has a degree in journalism from Ryerson in Toronto, and worked for two large daily newspapers. He received his theological education at St. Andrew's College in Saskatoon. Since ordination, he served in ministry in a number of settings and contexts. He enjoys skiing, cycling, gardening, cooking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, travel, and camping.

Jason Locke - Director of Music

Jason joined the Christ Church staff, on an interim basis, in July of 2010. He will be providing musical leadership for the 9:02 service. He has an undergraduate degree in theology and is currently working on his Master of Sacred Music degree at Emmanuel College. Jason is a choral conductor, composer, band leader and music teacher. While instruction and development are an important part of his job, Jason really loves to just sit at the piano and play – and expects he will get to do that a fair amount over the months to come.
